Thursday Thirteen #6

Being that it's still "LOVE" month, I'll continue with the love theme. :o)

Thirteen things I love about my family...

My Knight... is my ain true love. We'll be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this summer.
* The way his blue eyes twinkle when he's about to do something mischievous. Makes me feel special cause no one else sees this side of him.
* I love how he holds me close and we sway across our family room floor while our children look at us, smiling while saying, " Ah, argh... children are present!"

Soaring Amongst The Clouds... will be 20 this year. She's my first Baby Girl.
* She has her own language which around here we call "isms". She never fails to make me laugh.
* She's a romantic at heart, just like her mama. She is my chic-flick movie partner. Our favorite movie to watch together is, Last of the Mohicans. :o)

Still Waters... will be 19 this year. She's my second Baby Girl.
* She's got quick, logical humor. She floors me. Leaves me bewildered with her remarks.
* Her thoughts are deep. She is always stumping me with her questions. So deep that I tell her, "Well Baby Girl, it just is." We laugh about it and we go in search of the answer... we go ask my Babe. LOL! I love to hear her speak, cause she thinks so different than I do. She helps me to see things in a different light.

Daughter of the King... just celebrated her 17th birthday. She's my third Baby Girl.
* She's got the heart of a servant. Always willing to help without being asked. Just yesterday, I was busy running the boys to baseball practice. Dad had worked all night and had to attend an evening meeting. He need two shirts ironed for the next two days. She ironed them.
* She's got a smile that lights up the room. People just gravitate to her.

GI Joe... will be 13 in two weeks. He is my first Baby Boy.
* He's so easy going that it makes those around him feel at ease.
*
He doesn't mind when I cheer at his games. I holler things like, "Way to go Baby! Yeah Baby!" Once a mom told him, "you need to tell your mom not to call you Baby anymore." He quickly replied, "I don't mind, she calls my dad Babe and my sisters Baby Girl. When they play, that's how she cheers for them too."

The Warrior... will be 11 this year. He is my second Baby Boy.
* He stands up and defends those that can't. When he was only four, he stood up for his friend that was 7. We were at a McDonalds. The indoor play ground had a nintendo for kids to play. An older boy (who we did not know) took the controller from my son's friend and pushed him away. My son saw this. Went right up to the boy and told him , that he shouldn't of done that. It was not nice to take things away from people or to push people. The boys was surprised and speechless.
* He still lets me kiss and hug him. Yep, even in public. Well, even better, "he" hugs me and kisses me in public. Other's have made comments about it and he is quick to tell them, "I love my mama very much, now you know." LOL! He got that from Waterboy.

My Lord... the Creator.
* When I think about it, it really is unbelievable. Who would die for someone else? No one would. BUT, God did. He died so that I (and you) could spend eternity with Him. I love the way my Father loves me... unconditionally.

So, there it is, my list of thirteen things I love about those I love. Well, it was only 2 things per person, but in total it's thirteen. :o) Love month has one more week left. What will my last love list be about? Hmmm... my wheels are turning already. As the Clampett's would say on Beverly Hillbillies, "Y'all come back now, you hear?"

Your family is beautiful! Each and everyone of them! Love all the special traits you have shared, traits that are so wonderful!

Nice that your son stood up for you cheering him on as baby! That is so thoughtful and mature of him to realize that's just Mom, and is nothing to be embarrassed about at all! Nice to meet you! Hope you will visit again!
